The queen of the night orchid is one of my favorite flowers. They are wildly delicate, and really only appear once a year at night! Here is a way to enjoy that lacy flower while spinning.

Each Drop Spindle is hand made from laser cutting my designs onto the front and back of 1/4" thick poplar wood, shaping the hardwood dowels, and shaping the hook. Your spindle is unique, so there may be subtle differences in measurements, however I do my best to stay within the listed information!

The spindles are sanded numerous times, and coated in a wax conditioner. They are not finished or sealed as I prefer just waxing them, however after a thorough wash you could seal them with your preferred method!

I use Howards Feed-N-Wax to give the wood a warm tone and shine. This product can easily be found in many hardware stores.
