My history lover dreams in spindle form! Bronze age Minoan has been a deep love of mine, and the mysterious language of Linear A & B makes for a neat spindle idea. I combined a few of my personal favorite logograms into this design, along with two iconic Minoan designs. I was giddy when I also realized I could spell out WoolaBull with the Linear B syllabary and logograms so had to have that in there!

Each Drop Spindle is hand made from laser cutting my designs onto the front and back of 1/4" thick poplar wood, shaping the hardwood dowels, and shaping the hook. Your spindle is unique, so there may be subtle differences in measurements, however I do my best to stay within the listed information!

The spindles are sanded numerous times, and coated in a wax conditioner. They are not finished or sealed as I prefer just waxing them, however after a thorough wash you could seal them with your preferred method!

I use Howards Feed-N-Wax to give the wood a warm tone and shine. This product can easily be found in many hardware stores.
